A claim is the core assertion being made in an article — what is being said, attributed to whom, and about what. Hizer extracts the most important claims on each article rather than every sentence.
How is framing useful?
The same topic can be framed in very different ways across sources. Framing tags help analysts separate, for example, accusatory coverage of an actor from defensive or legitimizing coverage.
